Ice

The storm that blew through the entire country this past week didn't miss us at all.  Our area was hitting pretty hard with freezing rain.  I went out and took some pictures. I wanted to share with you guys what I found.

This branch broke of the tree sometime during the night after I took this picture.

Waterfall pictures

My husband gave me a new camera for Christmas and I have been playing with it.  Here are some shots that I got when my dad was visiting and was fishing with the kids under this waterfall.

Fall is starting to come....

We went for a drive on Sunday it was amazing to see the hills around here just covered with trees.  Most of them are starting to turn yellow, orange and red.  Here are some shots that I got from the car I can't wait in a couple of weeks when they all have turned.

What I saw last night...

We were at the state fair last night and was having a blast. Then I looked up in the sky and saw this:

Another Flower

Sorry about having another post of a flower.  These are blooming everywhere here and I have fall in love with them.  I have seen big bushes with either white or pink flowers.  But this particular one I took when we were in Williamsburg and they were just barely starting out.  One of my favorite parts is the ant on the petal.

This is the original picture.

New photos

If you missed the monthly cleaning goal for May check it out here!!

I took these from the rhododendron plant in our backyard.  Enjoy.

Trying my hand at Photos

I just love how this picture turned out.  My husband and daughter were outside playing with bubbles, I wanted to try to get some shots of just the bubbles with a decent background.  I kept getting the car or the bbq or my personal favorite the trash can! So I had to do some cropping and played with effects this is what I came up with.

What do you think?
