Anniversary Gift

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last month.  I was having a hard time figuring out what to do for him.  So I combined a couple of ideas that I saw.

We celebrated 6 years this year so I found 6 pictures of us throughout the time we have been married.  I used mats that I found at Walmart and put the picture inside of them and then added a little message of something that I loved about my husband, and I tried to have it tie in with the picture.

I wrapped each picture individually and wrote a time that he was suppose to open it on the wrapping.

I hung the pictures under a sign that my husband gave me for my first mother's day, using wire and clips.

Apron for my Hubby

My husband loves to be making something in the kitchen.  So I thought for Christmas I would change up one of his aprons for him.  I used freezer paper for the stencils, and it cost me nothing I had all of the materials.

Christmas tree door with notes for the Hubby

I just thought I would post this idea quickly, since there is still of plenty of time to do it.  I made a big tree out of construction paper.  Then I made 25 ornaments, lights, and presents and taped them to the tree, and taped everything to our bedroom door.  Everyday I'm going to write something that I love/admire in my husband until Christmas. br />

Message Pancakes

Monday nights are my daughter's night to make dinner.  Most of the time she makes waffles but she decided that she wanted to make pancakes.  I took over the pan for a minute and made these for my husband.  I used a spoon to write out the batter and I would suggest doing it while the pan is still heating up because then you have more time to write out the message before you have to flip them.

*My mom suggested to me after I wrote this to use an empty ketchup bottle.  I wish I had thought of that :) Somewhat Simple
