St. Patricks Day Door for Kids

I put this on my kid's door this past week, I cut it out on my cricut using the Simply Charmed cartridge.  My daughter saw it when she came home from school and kept trying to get the "gold" out of the pot.

Footprint Shamrocks

The kids and I make these this past weekend.  I printed out a shamrock shape then painted their feet green and filled in the shape with their footprints.

Lucky T-shirt

Since Valentine Day is over, I thought that I would share with you this shirt that I made for my daughter.  I did the freezer paper stenciling and paint.  When my daughter saw it she put it on right away so I guess that is a good sign ;) HookingupwithHoH

"I'm so LUCKY to have you" door

I'm continuing with my St. Patrick's day ideas. Using hearts and a triangle I was able to make a few four leaf clovers and create a cute little thing on the door. My daughter made her own and put them on her door, she thinks that it is so much fun to be able to tape things on her door.

I started with tracing enough hearts to make three four leaf clovers. Hopefully the lines aren't too hard to see, I traced with a pencil and realized that I should have done a pen so they showed up better in the picture.

I choose to use hearts, my daughter wanted to use circles here she is cutting hers out. :)

I used a piece of paper just to give it more of an anchor on the back of the shamrocks.
Then I put this up on our door as a little surprise for my husband when he came home from studying hard all day at school.

A St. Patrick's Day Decoration made by your kids

My daughter had a blast making this and I was able to get another decoration for St. Patty's day!! We only needed three things a picture of a shamrock, dried split peas and white glue.

When I told my daughter to stick her finger in the glue and spread it around inside the lines she looked at me like she didn't hear me right. Then she jumped right in!!

After the glue was spread out we just poured a whole bunch of peas on the paper, I didn't care what it looked like I just wanted everything covered.

Once it was covered we left it to dry for awhile, and did another craft.

After it was dried I just knocked off all of the peas that didn't stick and now we have our shamrock shape. I need to get a frame to put it in then I can hang it up.

St. Patrick's Day Hair clips

I made these for my little girl and she thought that they were some of the coolest things ever. I used directions from here: http://www.theribbonretreat.com/custom/free_projects.aspx

I found a little picture of a shamrock online and trace it out on some paper then onto some green felt, after cutting it out I glued it right in the middle of the bow.
