My husband's Aunt made us a beautiful quilt when we got married we used that as our comforter on our bed for a couple of years. Then I decided that there colors weren't really what I wanted in our room, being college students we really couldn't afford to buy a new comforter as well as the quilt was still in excellent condition. My Grandma sent me some money for my birthday so I went to Shopko and found sheets in the colors that I wanted to do in our room. They were on sale so I got dark brown and cream colored king size sheets. Using the top sheets from each set I made a cover to go over the quilt and so far it has worked out great!!!
