Super Easy Stuffed Pizza Bites

This came from over at Our Best Bites  they are super easy.

Roll out a can of refrigerated pizza dough and then cut into squares depending on the size of bites you want.  Then add toppings of your choice in the middle of each square.  My daughter loved doing this part.  Then take each square and fold it up into a roll making sure it is all sealed up and place seam down in a pie pan.
Keep going until all the squares are rolled up.

Then brush a little olive oil on and sprinkle some Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and Garlic powder.  Then put in the oven at the temperature it says on the dough can and bake for about 15min or until its golden brown.

Serve with your favorite pizza sauce and dip a bite in and enjoy!!!

Feet Ghosts

I found this idea on a few parties and I just loved it.  My favorite part probably was hearing the kids giggle as I painted their feet.  I made a set for each of the grandparents as well, but they probably wont get them until after Halloween at this point but they can enjoy them for next year.

Pumpkin Jello

I made these the other night for a treat for Family Home Evening when we carved our pumpkins.

I used mint pieces for decorations because that is all I had :) (I just now noticed that one of the eyes fell off of the worm sorry)

Here is the recipe its super easy:

2 packages (6 oz) orange gelatin
2 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold milk
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

Dissolve gelatin in water; set aside for 30 min.  Whisk milk and pudding mix until smooth, about 1 minute.  Quickly pour into gelatin; whisk until well blended.  Pour into an oiled 13inx9in pan.  Chill until set.  Cut into circles or use a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter.  Just before serving, add candy eyes and mouths.

ENJOY!!!!!

Delicious Mint Cocoa

I picked up a recipe card at the end of last winter at a grocery store I don't remember which one now.  When I was looking for new recipes in my collection that I haven't tried I found this so I bought the stuff to make it.  I didn't want to make the whole thing so I cut it in half.  My husband fell in love with this and wanted to go out and get more stuff to make another batch of it.

Mint Cocoa

2 cans of Evaporate Milk
1 1/2 cups chocolate and mint chips
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine the first three ingredients in a saucepan.  Stir often allowing the chips to melt.  Let it get hot but not boiling then remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.

IT'S DONE!! IT'S DONE!! IT'S DONE!!

So I have been teasing you guys all month with sneak peeks and I have been working hard the last couple of weeks to get it done (which explains why I was missing last week).  Now its finally done and I can't wait to show you guys.

First it started with these:

Then I teased you guys with these:

I used this pattern, now that I have it done I would do the blocks 4 across and 5 down.  The pattern how it is fits barely wide enough for a twin bed but is way too short for the length of the bed, I had to do some improvising.

Here is the top how the pattern is, I decided that I better lay it on my daughter's bed before I start working on the rest good thing I did!!  It was way too short.  So I added another thick border of the green on the top and the bottom of the quilt.

Here is the quilt after I have quilted everything.  I quilted around all of the purple squares, the big blue squares, and the green borders.

AND HERE IT IS COMPLETED!!!!!!

Sorry the colors are off I have had to work on this at night and during nap times.  So my pictures are done with bad lighting, and one of them was taken with the flash.

This is one of my favorite parts:

My own tag :)

Well I finally got it done.  Now its hiding in my closet until Christmas.  I had to get it done now because I was running out of time with my daughter being home the whole week of Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas then who knows how often school will get cancelled because of snow (it happens more that I wish around here, then again I have lived almost my whole life in Eastern Washington and Southern Idaho).

But here it is again I'm so excited for her to open it!!!

Fall is starting to come....

We went for a drive on Sunday it was amazing to see the hills around here just covered with trees.  Most of them are starting to turn yellow, orange and red.  Here are some shots that I got from the car I can't wait in a couple of weeks when they all have turned.

Apple Basket with Scissors

This month my daughter's pre-k program asked us to work on cutting with scissors this is something we did last week.

I drew some "apples" on some construction paper and then my daughter cut them out.  Then we made a basket to put them "in."   This week I am planning on having her add some flowers and maybe a pumpkin for her to cut out as well.

Chore Chart

I told you yesterday that I have been working on a couple of projects well here is one of them.  I finally got my cartridge that has been all of the country because I forgot to double check the shipping address.  It's call "Chore Chart."   Well I spent yesterday playing with it and my cricut and this is what  I made:

The chores are going to be attached with velcro once I get them at the store then when my daughter does one of the chores for the day she can remove it and bring it to me or my husband for us to double check she has done it.  If all of the squares are off on Saturday then she gets a prize.  It was fun to make and I hope that it works out for us. lil luna link party buttonHookingupwithHoH Somewhat Simple
